Our philosophy lays in simplicity, uniqueness and naturalness. Fresh and quality fish, shrimps and seashells supplied by local fishermen and served as a multi-course meal on the same day when caught. Our vegetables come from the chef Ivan Jadreškić’s vegetable garden and together with the fresh fish they are shaped into the meals we all remember from our granny’s cuisine, only now these meals weave a new gastro-tale.
Of course, our wines follow the same plot which is to offer the guest the experience of the tradition of our region. Our wine list is therefore the overview of some of the best Croatian wines: from simple, fresh, white wines to more complex red wines, sparkling wines and dessert wines. We serve most of them, with a recommendation, by the glass.
Also, there are Istrian olive oils which are the final touch of this exquisite gastronomic experience.
“There is no need to be trapped by form because that is the way to lose meaning, to lose soul. It is better when the guest feels the life in the kitchen and understands that the dish is prepared just for him or her. We do not serve dishes prepared in advance. All groceries are fresh, and fish, shrimps and sseashells are alive”, Dragan points out.
